Cold Lake, AB – At a meeting this week, Cold Lake City Council approved the recommendations of the Community Grant Advisory Committee for the July 2024 intake for the Community Recreation, Art, Culture, and Heritage Investment Grant program. Also approved were three funding requests directly considered by Council.

Cold Lake, AB – Cold Lake continues its work to strike a balance between providing shelter and support for its vulnerable population while also providing for public safety by curbing illegal encampments, aggressive panhandling, and property crime.

Cold Lake, AB – The City of Cold Lake continues recovery two weeks after the cyber attack that shut down several systems on July 23, 2024
Since the attack, the City has remained open for services, though with limited capabilities.

Recovery efforts are now taking place in the City of Cold Lake after a cyber attack that encrypted and held ransom some of its systems on Tuesday, July 23.
“Once we determined that personal data and sensitive information was not affected, our priority was getting our services back up and running,” said CAO Kevin Nagoya. “Our doors are open. We are here to continue providing programs and services to the city.”
