Cold Lake, AB – The City of Cold Lake is proposing to update a number of bylaws to ensure that fines for bylaw infractions are in line with those seen in other municipalities across the province.

COLD LAKE – Cold Lake Fire-Rescue is excited to have four new thermal imaging cameras in its possession.
The cameras and their charging stations were ordered in December after Cold Lake Fire-Rescue received $7,500 from the Enbridge Fueling Futures Grant in order to purchase the equipment.
“These cameras are very valuable to our operations,” said Fire Chief Jeff Fallow. “They allow us to look for hot spots in walls or vehicles, where we can’t normally see, to help make sure any fires are out completely.”

COLD LAKE – Residents requiring a criminal record check may have noticed a new system in place, requiring them to head to City Hall to pay a fee before heading to the RCMP Detachment for the check.
This change comes after a review of the program, where Council approved a small fee to be implemented moving into early 2022. Cold Lake, AB – Work on Phase 3 of construction begins at Kinosoo Beach today, continuing the implementation of council’s vision for the area.
